Job Description and Qualifications:
Communication & Arts duties will include but are not limited to:
Create and update electronic records using MS Word and Excel, create fliers and brochures using MS Office, assist in copying, filing, data entry, delivery and research as directed, assist individual faculty members and assistants with spontaneous needs and guide students and visitors to the correct area when needed.
Skills Required: Proficiency in basic computer skills and basic clerical skills. The employee must be dependable, have initiative, motivated, willing to learn and perform diverse tasks, work with limited supervision, maintain confidentiality, work with limited supervision and complete assignments on time.
Desirable Traits: Prompt, reliable, accurate, team player, positive attitude, customer service oriented, with very good skills in communication (written, oral and listening), appreciation of Communication and the Arts and eager to learn about NWACC and support its mission.

Job Description and Qualifications:
This position may work at any of the Washington County Off Campus Centers, (located at Farmington Center, Jones Center, and Washington County Center) as assigned.
       
Job Duties
 
  • Assist and provide support for Learner Services, Admissions, Student Records, and Learner Development (Advising) at any Washington County Center (Farmington, Jones Center, Washington County Center). 
  • This position may answer phones and provide assistance in directing students to advising, admissions, and student records. 
  • Help scan and index students documents (at Washington County Center only) for both WCC and the Main Campus.  Make appropriate referrals to other departments. 
  • In addition, this position may assist with Orientation to include the following responsibilities: Educate students on interpreting class schedules and help students log into My NWACC Connection.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Learner Services/Washington County.
