Blackboard Boot Camp

Blackboard Boot Camp will teach you the basics of how to use Blackboard with your classes. It is available in two formats: an online self-paced version, or a two hour face-to-face session. Individual help is also available by appointment.  Please contact Jay Hall for more information.

Self-paced Online

All first-time online or hybrid students will be automatically enrolled into the online version of the Boot Camp.  Look for it on your Course List inside Blackboard approximately one week before classes start.

Other students who would like access to the self-guided Boot Camp should contact Jay Hall. Please allow 48 hours from the time of request for the enrollment to take effect.

Face-to-Face

NWACC Distance Learning also offers two-hour face-to-face Boot Camps immediately prior to the start of the long semesters [January & August].  Our current camps are scheduled for Thursday August 20th at noon in BH2452, Friday August 21st at 8am in BH2452, Friday August 21st at Washington County Center in room 106, and Saturday August 22nd at 10am in BH2452.

Please RSVP which date you will attend.

One-on-one Assistance

An individual orientation to Blackboard is also available by appointment. Please contact Jay Hall for more information.
