Risky Business Month . . . Everyone is a Risk Manager
The Office of Institutional Policy, Risk Management and Compliance is proud to announce the launch of a month dedicated to the value of risk management at NWACC. This program is a campaign to raise awareness of the NWACC risk philosophy and resources.
NWACC, as with any institution of higher education, operates in an inherently risky environment. By strategically managing risk we:
· Reduce the chance of loss
· Create greater stability
· Protect our resources
Risky Business Month will bring several educational programs so that you can better understand the institutional risk appetite, components, and tools used to mitigate potential negative impact on the educational mission.
