We're here to help you pay for college

There are several financial resources available for you if you wish to apply for financial assistance. You should start the process by completing the application for the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).

We know navigating the financial aid process may be confusing, and we are here to help.
Visit us on the second floor of the Becky Paneitz Student Center, email us at finaid@nwacc.edu or call us at 479-619-4329.

The priority processing date for Fall 2016 semester was July 1st. The Spring 2017 priority processing date will be December 1st.  To have your financial aid eligibility reviewed prior to the payment due date for the semester, you must complete your financial aid file by the respective priority processing deadline.

Federal Financial Aid

The Financial Aid Office administers the Title IV federal aid program that includes the Pell grant, Federal Direct Student Loan program, Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity grant, and the Federal Work-Study program.

To apply for Federal Financial aid, you must first complete the FAFSA (Free Application for Student Aid) to determine your eligibility for Federal financial assistance.

State Financial Aid

The Financial Aid Office also processes state scholarships and grants administered by the Arkansas Department of Higher Education.

The deadline to apply for Arkansas state aid is always June 1.
