The Office for Grants strives to assist individuals in finding possible funding opportunities. The Office for Grants will relay information about funding sources in the following ways:

  • A list of current and ongoing funding opportunities in maintained on the Office for Grants website

  • Funding notices are distributed during the Extended Cabinet and can be obtained from Cabinet members or on the Office for Grants website; and

  • Faculty and staff are also encouraged to inform their campus administrators and colleagues of identified needs for funding and funding opportunities.

In addition to providing specific funding opportunities, the Office for Grants also maintains a list of external funding agencies on the Resources page. Please be sure to sign up for email alerts from the various agencies listed on the Resources page in order to be up to date on the most recently announced opportunities.

Grants for Partnerships with the Broader Middle East and North Africa

Description:Six-month period of performance to support the planning for partnerships between U.S. community colleges and community and technical colleges in the Broader Middle East and North Africa (BMENA).

Fulbright Scholar-in-Residence (SIR) Program

The Fulbright Program, sponsored by US Dept of State's Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs

Description:Brings visiting scholars and professionals from abroad to lecture at US colleges and universities for one semester or one academic year.

Ongoing Opportunities

Joint US-Indonesia Council for Higher Education Partnership

AACC, Association of Public and Land-grant Universities (APLU), US-Indonesia Society, Institute of International Education and the East-West Center

Description:The council will work to enhance educational cooperation through initiatives that complement official programs and identify key long-term areas for educational relationships. The council will begin preparation of a plan of action, working collaboratively with the planned government-led Education Working Group of the Joint Commission on the Comprehensive Partnership.
