The Northwest Arkansas Theatre Department is proud to present two productions this spring. The first features new plays from faculty and students focusing on women in the arts. The second production is an adaptation of Pride & Prejudice.
Women & Writing New Play Festival February 12th and 13th
Join us February 12th and 13th in White Auditorium to see three brand new plays, all written by women. As we prepare for BFF and as part of our Crossing Borders theme, we are proud to present plays written by Genny Olson, Paige Barajas, and Rachel Lynett as the conversation about diversity in the arts continues to reach new heights. This production is also a fundraiser to help send students to Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival Region VI. Genny Olson's The Good, the Bad, and the Spaghetti and Rachel Lynett's Breathe Me In were both invited to Region VI festival this year. For more information, please don't hesitate to contact us.
Pride @ Prejudice by Daniel Elihu Kramer April 7th - 9th
Join us April 7th through 9th in White Auditorium to see a modern look at Pride & Prejudice by Jane Austen. Pride @ Prejudice takes us through the story of Elizabeth Bennett and Mr. Darcy with a modern look at this favorite romance. Filling with letters from Austen, movie moments, and quick wit, this play is not to be missed. Tickets will be available at the door. For more information, please don't hesitate to contact us.
