Science and Mathematics

The Science and Mathematics Division at NWACC encompasses agricultural, food and life science, algebra, astronomy, biology, botany, calculus, chemistry, electronics technology, engineering, environmental science, funeral science, geosciences, geology, horticulture, microbiology, occupational safety and health, physical science, physics, plane trigonometry, and quantitative literacy.

Students have the opportunity to earn certificates in specialized areas, associate degrees that can lead to careers or associate degrees that will transfer to four-year institutions. Students also may complete a number of prerequisite courses toward their degree in a different division of the College.

Most courses are delivered both traditionally and online to accommodate busy schedules.  NWACC offers smaller class sizes, quality instructors, and coursework that provides not only a traditional textbook education, but also utilizes real-world experience.
