That's why NWACC offers a variety of fitness options from classes, personal trainer, club sports and more! In today's society, we have become very aware of the cost of not taking care of ourselves, not just personally, but also to the businesses that choose to employ eus, and society in general.
Do you have interest in learning more about health and wellness and how to apply this new information? The Health Education Department offers seated and online classes in Wellness Concepts, Personal Health & Safety and Nutrition in Health.
Are you looking to learn a new lifetime fitness physical education activity class to help you with your personal fitness and to add elective hours for graduation requirements? NWACC offers PEAC Classes in: Lifetime Fitness, Fitness Concepts, Yoga, Weight Training, Horseback Riding, Aerobic Kick-boxing, Self- defense, Golf and Tennis.
Why join an off campus gym while NWACC has a new fitness center you can work-out in between your class schedule or at your most convenient times. "The NWACC Fitness Center is the Best Deal on Campus!" (Student memberships: $39.00 a semester or $75 year.)
Finally, do you still have a passion for playing competitive team sports? Club sports teams such as volleyball, fast pitch softball, basketball, baseball, slow pitch softball, flag football, disk golf, bowling and golf are available.
