“The great thing about NWACC’s paralegal night program is that I can work and go to school at the same time...” - Anna Alfano
The Paralegal Program offers courses at night so students have the flexibility of working and pursuing a degree at the same time.
“I don’t think I would have secured my job without going to NWACC. The paralegal program gave me the skills I needed. The faculty was great and was willing to help me in any way, particularly in finding a good job.” - Amanda Henry
The faculty at NWACC are committed to helping students find jobs utilizing their new skills in the
workplace. According to NWACC Paralegal Program Coordinator Dr. Mary Hatfield Lowe, “the job market for paralegals in Northwest Arkansas is so hot I have a hard time finding students or graduates to fill jobs. Last year, I had attorneys from area law firms and corporations call about 12 jobs which I could not fill.”
Many students are placed in law offices after the first semester, so that they can be acquiring paralegal skills and experience while in school.
“With a paralegal degree, there are endless opportunities as there are so many areas of the law to work in,” - Anna Alfano
