After you arrive at NWACC

Day 1
Upon your first day of employment, you will meet with Human Resources to finalize any new hire paperwork or benefit information. Please make sure you bring any necessary documents that Human Resources asks you to provide.

In addition to your first day, you will attend a training session to familiarize you with some of the technology on campus that relates to your job.

Connect to NWACC's wireless network
Set up your telephone and voicemail
Connect and access your networked file storage area
As a full-time employee, you have a few options in where to store your files:

Hard drive (C drive or documents) - we do not recommend you save your files here. In the event your computer crashes, there is no guarantee your files can be recovered.

Desktop - this is an unsecured area. In the event your computer crashes, there is no guarantee your files can be recovered.

H drive (network) - save your documents here. This is on the network, so if your computer crashes, there is no worry of them being lost. You cannot access off campus.

K drive - The K drive is an area that most employees have access to. Some folders are private and you may not have access to them. The K drive has the hierarchy of the organizational chart. This can be accessed off campus.

Communities - Communities are found inside of My NWACC Connection. They can be private or public.
