Regular Scheduled Maintenance Times

From time-to-time, there is a need to update software and hardware to stay current with regulatory requirements, security fixes or feature enhancements. While we make every attempt to avoid taking down systems, we have reserve various times to perform this work. These times are created to minimize impact on you, yet have vendor support if something does go as planned. 

 

The weekly maintenance is split between Thursday and Friday evenings. The Thursday evening maintenance window will be for upgrades and/or patches applied to software systems such as Banner, Workflow, EagleNet, AdAstra, and Evisions products (Argos, Intellecheck, FormFusion, MAPS). Services such as email, Blackboard, and library access will remain available.


The Friday maintenance will be for network related maintenance and upgrades. The timeframe remains the same, 6:00 p.m. until midnight. Services such as My NWACC Connection, EagleNet, Banner, Workflow, Blackboard, email and library access remain available unless the college community is notified otherwise.


There is a nightly maintenance window from 2:00 a.m. to 3:00 a.m. for the main website and My NWACC Connection. It is only invoked when necessary to perform maintenance and updates. All other services remain available.
