Non-NWACC Proctor Exams

Proctor Services for Other Institutions

  • To have an exam proctored for another university the student will need to complete and submit the Proctor Services Request Form.
  • The day of the test the student is required to pay a $25 proctor fee, per test, by going to the Student Records Office and Treasurer's Office.

Computer Challenge

  • This exam is available for NWACC credit and non-credit programs and covers Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, and Access.
  •  A 4 hour appointment is required for this exam (the student may take up to 60 minutes in each section).
  • To schedule an appointment please complete and submit the Computer Challenge Exam  Request Form.
  • The day of the test the student is required to pay a $25 proctor fee by going to the Student Records Office and Treasurer's Office.
  • The exam may only be attempted once and a passing score is an overall 80% with no section below a 70%.

BIO CON

  • Assessment of biological knowledge as a prerequisite option for BIOL 2214, which is required for Anatomy and Physiology I.
  • To schedule an appointment please complete and submit the Biological Concepts Request Form.
  • This test consists of sixty multiple choice questions. A score of 23 is needed in order to pass.
  • On the day of the test, check in at the Student Records Office and the $10 fee will be paid at the Treasurer's Office.
  • Please have a Scantron and photo ID.
  • One re-test is allowed

HAPS

Human Anatomy and Physiology Society
Combined Competency Examination

  • Assessment of current A&P knowledge for the NWACC Nursing Program. No re-testing is allowed. This test is primarily for those who have taken an A & P class, but it has been more than 5 years.
  • To schedule an appointment please complete and submit the HAPS Request Form.
  • No study guide is available. This test consists of 100 multiple choice questions. A minimum score of 40 is needed.
  • On the day of the test, check in at the Student Records Office and the $10 fee will be paid at the Treasurer's Office.
  • Have photo ID and Scantron ready at time of testing.

Please register with ASE prior to calling the Assessment Office at 479-986-4078 for an appointment. When you call to make an appointment you will need your ASE Eligibility number. Please bring your registration ticket and a photo ID.

  • The College Level Examination Program is available to NWACC students and the community.
  • All exams require the student to pay a $25 proctor fee and an $80 CLEP fee.
  • Examinees are required to go to the CLEP website and pay the $80 fee prior to coming to test.
  • To schedule an appointment please complete and submit the CLEP Request Form.
  • Students must show government issued photo ID at time of examination and bring with them their voucher (from CLEP site).
  • Please refer to the current NWACC Catalog for a list of credits accepted by NWACC. The CLEP Chart contains the passing scores required in order to receive credit.

 

  • The Dantes Subject Standard Tests require a $25 proctor fee and an $80 DSST fee (DSST fee must be paid with a credit card at testing appointment). To schedule an appointment please complete and submit the DSST Request Form.
