What do you do at NWACC?

I advise students seeking NWACC Health Professions degrees and certifications. This includes the Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degrees in Nursing, Physical Therapist Assistant, Respiratory Therapist, Paramedic, Health Information Management and Fire Science and certificates in EMT, CNA/PCA, Dental Assisting, HIM Coding, and Pre-Radiologic Imaging, I am located in the Center for Health Professions (CHP) Room 1002.

I can assist with course planning, registration issues, basic financial aid questions, application processes to the programs, Financial Aid Appeals, or any other questions or issues that may arise.

Why NWACC?

I am a product of NWACC from the beginning; I was first a student, then work-study, then employee. I work at NWACC because  we care about our students, the community, and our College. We help people achieve their goals and dreams.

What can you tell us about your experience working at NWACC?

The Health Professions division has been a wonderful experience. The Dean, faculty, and staff are passionate about our programs and the quality of training our students receive. We strive to produce the best of the best in our programs.

What do you want the rest of the world to know about NWACC?

We are here to provide a world-class education for our students, whether that is an AAS degree to get them into the workforce or and AS or AA degree to prepare them to continue on to a four year degree. NWACC is a true “Community” college, every person who works at the college is there because they want to make sure our students are taken care of in every aspect.

How do you like to spend your free time outside of NWACC?

I am a crazy chicken lady and crafter. I love taking care of and raising the variety of chickens we have, along with 3 ducks, 3 turkeys and a potbelly pig. When time allows I also love crafting!

What’s your advice for anyone considering attending NWACC?

NWACC is a great place to start, continue, or resume your education. NWACC offers a quality education, smaller student to instructor ratio, and affordable tuition.
