NorthWest Arkansas Community College (NWACC) and THRiVE Athletics & Events invite all youth to the Fourth Annual THRiVE Athletics & Events Cross-Country Summer Day Camps on June 4, 5, and 6.

"We’re excited to partner again with NWACC for these camps. After four years of partnerships helping to expand running in Northwest Arkansas, we are so thankful to have support from organizations like Northwest Arkansas Community College," said Chris Weller, director of THRiVE Athletics. " The school, staff and facility are amazing, and they bring people together by giving athletic opportunities and scholarships to various backgrounds and experiences. We are so thankful to have coaches like Josphat Boit and athletic directors like Brooke Brewer to help spearhead the expansion of running by opening their facilities to the young athletes of our community and non-profits like THRiVE."

NWACC’s head coach, Josphat Boit, will be the clinician for the camp.

"We’re excited for this enriching summer at our Junior High and High School Cross Country Camp," said Boit. "This is a fantastic opportunity for young athletes to enhance their skills, build endurance, and foster a love for running in a supportive and fun environment. Whether they are a seasoned runner or  just starting, our camp is designed to help each of them reach their full potential and make lasting
memories."

The camp will be open to all seventh through 12th-grade students looking to sharpen their running skills and training.

On June 4, a prospect and skill camp training will be held for all dedicated junior high runners and incoming ninth through 12th-graders at the NWACC Center for Health Professions/XC Course.

On June 5 and 6, Track workouts and mastering the fartlek/hills training will be held for incoming seventh through 12th-graders at the Old Tiger Track in Bentonville.

The cost will be $50 per athlete, $200 for a team of five, and an additional $50 for a team of 10 members.

Registration will close on Tuesday, June 4. To register for the camp, click here.

NWACC and Benchmark Group are sponsors and partners of the camp.
