NWACC Offering Three One-Day AI Intensive Workshops
NorthWest Arkansas Community College is now offering three one-day Artificial Intelligence, AI, intensive workshops.
“These AI workshops provide hands-on learning experiences focused on applying artificial intelligence (AI) in the workplace,” said Chris Lynch, NWACC’s director of advance technologies. “Participants will explore tools for data analysis, communication, time management, and more, gaining practical skills for using AI to enhance productivity and decision-making. Each session offers an interactive environment to develop foundational AI knowledge and progress towards more advanced training.”
The workshops are designed for professionals at all levels, including beginners. NWACC officials say no prior AI experience is required, making the courses accessible to a wide audience. Whether you are looking to gain basic AI knowledge or expand your existing skill set, these sessions offer something for everyone.
Participants will have the opportunity to receive a certificate of completion for the workshop, recognizing their efforts and new AI skills. The certificate serves as a stepping stone for the college's further advanced AI certifications.
The workshops will take place on October 17, November 14 and December 12, in person and at NWACC’s Burns Hall.
“As AI technologies continue to evolve, the workforce must be trained in their application,” said Lynch. “Industries across the globe are adopting AI-driven processes, and employees who understand how to use these tools will have a competitive edge. This training prepares workers to keep up with technological advancements and lead their industries in innovation.”
Spaces for the AI workshops are limited, so early registration is encouraged.
