NWACC’s Cycling Club Invites Community to Ride
NorthWest Arkansas Community College held its first fall semester ride for its Cycling Club last week.
The club plans to host rides every other week starting on Thursday, October 10th. Students, staff/faculty, and community members are encouraged to attend.
"I'm thrilled to lead the charge in building NWACC's Cycling Club from the ground up. My experiences as a club athlete have been transformative, and I can't wait for NWACC students to enjoy similar opportunities,” said Aaron Messer, NWACC’s head cycling club coach. “Cycling offers a unique chance to create friendships, stay healthy, and explore the outdoors. With this club, I hope to create a community where students can share their passion for cycling, support each other, and have new experiences together. I'm excited to see how we grow and the positive impact we'll make on our campus.”
As the club looks to grow over the next year into 2025, the opportunities to race various disciplines will be available collegiately and locally at events hosted in Northwest Arkansas.
