Coursework
Once you've completed the pre-nursing general education courses and are accepted into the nursing program, you'll move on to the technical phase of the nursing program curriculum. View and fill out the grade appeal form if you previously failed a general education course and have a valid excuse.
- If you follow the Track I Traditional - Benton County or Track 1 Traditional - Washington County, you'll begin your degree path during the fall semester.
- If you follow the Track II Accelerated - Benton County or Track II Accelerated - Washington County, you'll begin during the summer semester.
- If you follow the Practical Nursing program, you'll begin during the spring semester.
Clinical placement may be subject to criminal background check, drug screening and other clinical facility policies. You may be required to go to health care institutions outside Northwest Arkansas for clinical internships at your expense.
