Transfer Advising
When preparing to transfer to a four-year university/college after attending NWACC, you must pay careful attention to detail and stay in close touch with an advisor who is knowledgeable about transfer opportunities. Not every school offers the major you want to pursue, and that is just one of the very good reasons why you should stay connected to your NWACC advisor. Exploring transfer options with you is what NWACC advisors do.
Advisors also play an important role when it comes time to select courses to take each term. It's not always easy to determine what will or won't transfer. Rather than rely on yourself, we encourage you to take full advantage of the advisors and advising resources we offer.
