Discover the world of robotics and automation! Technology is rapidly growing and changing the way people work, which is why NWACC partnered with the Northwest Arkansas Education Service Cooperative and the Walton Foundation to offer advanced robotic training to high school students.

Students who take the robotic concurrent class can earn 12 college credits and have the opportunity to obtain industry certifications highly sought in the robotics and automation industry. You’ll learn about robot operations and electrical  concepts, including tasks required to set up specific applications, test, run, and refine programs and set up production.

Courses will be available in two locations: NWACC’s Bentonville campus and NWACC’s Washington County campus. Follow the links below for more information.

Concurrent robotics courses include:

  •  Robotics I: Introduction to Robotics
  •  Automation Electronic Technology I
  •  Robotics II: Programming Fundamentals
  •  Automation Electronic Technology II

NWACC partnered with the Northwest Arkansas Education Service Cooperative and the Walton Foundation to offer advanced robotic training courses to high school students free of charge.

By taking all robotics concurrent courses, you can earn the following certifications before graduating from high school:

  • FANUC Certified Robot Operator - 1

Credits obtained while earning your robotics certifications in high school can be transferred to NWACC when you become a college student and be applied toward earning an associate degree in any of the following programs:

  • Associate of Applied Science Electronics Technology
  • Certificate of Proficiency in Electronics Technology
