Radiologic Imaging Sciences
By participating in NWACC's radiologic imaging sciences program, you'll be prepared to become a radiologic technologist (RT), an imaging health care professional. RTs perform imaging examinations on patients using modalities such as X-ray, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and computed technology (CT). Specialized areas of radiologic imaging include, but are not limited to mammography, fluoroscopy and interventional cardiology.
You can complete your pre-requisite radiologic imaging sciences work at NWACC and then apply to the Radiologic Sciences Division at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS). Learn more about the admission process.
