Curious Minds Welcome: A look at what you'll explore in Honors

What Makes an Honors Course Different?

Honors courses at NWACC dive deeper, spark ideas, and encourage students to see the world from new perspectives. With thought-provoking discussions and in-depth learning, these classes go beyond the basics—helping you strengthen your knowledge and sharpen your thinking. Many students find these courses more engaging, rewarding, and memorable than their regular classes.

You don't need to be in the Honors Program to take an honors class—just bring your curiosity and a willingness to engage.

Note: Students can look up Honors classes in Workday.  Once logged in, type "Honors" into the search bar to see the full list, or use the Course Tag filter on the left to narrow the results.
