Certified Nursing Assistant & Patient Care Assistant +
By participating in NWACC's certified nursing assistant (CNA) program, you'll develop
health care competencies in safety, infection control, vital signs and working with
geriatric residents in long term care facilities. Upon successful completion, you
will be eligible to take the state nurse assistant certification exam.
You can then build on your skills obtained in the CNA program in an acute care setting
by taking the patient care assistant plus (PCA+) three hour credit course.
Program Approval
NWACC’s CNA and PCA+ courses are approved by the Arkansas State Office of Long Term Care.
